I am a very friendly and enthusiastic primary school teacher with a passion for making learning fun, enjoyable and relevant for all children. I have been in many different schools and am aware of the requirements for passing the year 6 SATs tests. I am very patient and use a wide range of strategies for engagement and learning. In my own spare time I enjoy reading and believe that reading opens many new opportunities and so should be taught to all children! Do not hesitate to contact my for enquiries and to make bookings.
I graduated as a primary school teacher in 2015 from Manchester Metropolitan University with a 2.1 degree and since then I have been working in schools around Staffordshire from nursery up to year six. I have also worked in a special school as a full time teacher and so have experience of working with children with needs such as Autism, Down Syndrome and speech and language delays. Before university I completed a childcare course at college meaning I also have knowledge and experience on child development and care. I have written lots of academic papers and assignments and am aware of the requirements needed to complete a teacher training course. References are available on request.
I am available throughout Monday to Friday and am happy to accommodate and tailor to times suited to each person I tutor, ranging from morning, afternoon and evening sessions.
