About me

Hi my name is Caitlin. I am a very encouraging and patient tutor as I understand that everyone learns at different paces. In order to help you do the best in your subject I will do my best to adapt my tutoring style to suit your needs. I am very caring, supportive person and I will strive to ensure you feel confident in your learning. I am 24 years old and a recent graduate. I have a undergraduate degree in Psychology (BSc) from the University of Hull and a masters degree in Health Psychology (MSc).

I have a great deal experience with working both young people and adults. While at University I tutored my housemate in his degree subject and helped him to achieve a 2:1. I previously worked as a Student Ambassador at my university which included working on summer school programs, working on educational days for young people and mentoring. I have also volunteered with charities that support young people who are from challenging backgrounds such as those who have experienced substance abuse in their families. In my role as a Student Ambassador I also helped to develop a new program at the university which supports young people who act as the carer for a family member.

I am currently available every weekday from 10am to 7pm. I`m not currently able to drive as I am recovering from a broken leg but when I am recovered I will be able to travel freely.
