About me

I love teaching people of all ages and from different backgrounds and enjoy making teaching and learning interesting fun and meaningful for my students, whilst encouraging them to achieve success in their studies. I am very student centred in my approach and strongly believe that developing a positive and nurturing relationship with my students is the key to their success. Over the many years as a teacher, I have learnt as much from my students as they have from me.

I am a very experienced teacher of adults and have over twenty years experience of teaching English Literature, English Language and Creative Writing. I am also skilled at teaching students with special needs and have a patient, empathic and dedicated teaching style.

I am available at weekends.
