About me

Currently on a gap year, but am planning to pursue English at degree level next year - after having been told I would make a good tutor by both teachers and my own family! I`ve always been really hardworking and passionate about education, and finding what you love when it comes to school. I have always wanted to study English Literature - being immersed in my degree has really affirmed this, but I would love to be able to share this passion for study with others who perhaps struggle or need a bit of push. Sometimes you just need something to click and need to find something that sparks excitement for a topic and I would love to be the person to do that! I achieved 7 A*s and 3 A`s at GCSE and then went on to get 3 A*s at A Level and I always pushed myself and worked my socks off, and want to help others find this same motivation to get grades they can really be proud of.

I have never tutored before but have always been involved with the school community throughout my education. I was a prefect at my Upper school where I would give advice to students about choosing GCSEs and would talk to parents and their children at open evenings. At sixth form I set up a newspaper and ran this with a team below me who I directed etc. I have never tutored before but have helped my brother with his GCSEs and have been told by previous teachers and family members that my ability to explain things would make me the perfect tutor.
