About me

I am an approachable and confident teacher, who has attended various courses on the AQA exams and how to achieve the top grades. I enjoy spending time with friends at the cinema and writing blogs in my spare time. I am from Wales and can speak some of the language. I graduated from Swansea University with a honours degree in Zoology (Biological Sciences) and went on to complete my masters and PGCE in Cardiff the year after (2015) I graduated. I am keen to help students to gain confidence in Science (especially Biology) and am about learning through QUALITY not quantity.

I have worked at 4 comprehensive schools in Wales, working closely with high ability learners and those more able, whilst also working with low ability learners and boosting their confidence and grades. I then worked at a top Grammar School in Sutton Coldfield and obtained some of the best GCSE`s across the school for Biology (top in my department). I have worked closely with sixth form students in UCAS and exam prep. Very happy to help learners write personal statements as I led this at one school. I have worked closely with exam moderators in AQA and therefore understand the GCSE syllabus very well. I am now working at my third school in Sutton Coldfield, and feel very confident with KS3 science, AQA GCSE prep and A level prep.

Available most weeknights after 4.30pm. Sunday afternoons also.
