About me

Hello! My name is Viv and I’m a graduate of the University of Manchester with an upper second class Master of Modern Languages in Spanish and Italian. I also hold A Level qualifications in English Language, German and History (all A-C grades). Since graduating in 2013 I have kept up my language skills by working for various international airlines. This job has enabled me to work in a customer facing environment and I have also been lead trainer for a number of years. This has given me strong interpersonal and teaching skills, which I also love to bring to tutoring. As a native English speaker, I know the difficulties we face as learners of foreign languages and would love to share my tried and tested tips and tricks with you. Ultimately, learning a language, no matter the level, should always be a fun experience. I was lucky enough to go through all levels of my education fully enjoying learning not just a language, but a new culture as well and this is something I love passing onto others now.

As well as being lead trainer in my current job, I have had work experience with high school level and adult learners in the past as well as teaching classes in order to gain my Master`s qualification.
