I am an MA student at UCL. My programme is Early Modern Studies, and my dissertation is about the practice and efficacy of sixteenth-century English law. As an undergraduate, I majored first in biochemistry and then in English literature. I also completed a minor in Classics. I graduated with a 3.83 GPA (first-class honours) from the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am fluent in Spanish and German, and can read and write in both Classical Latin and Old English. I became interested in Early Modern Studies through Shakespeare, and am an avid reader of his plays and poetry.
I was a tutor for, and the vice-president of the Bio Society at UMass. I tutored a group of students taking Elizabethan and Jacobean Drama at UMass.
