About me

I`m Jamie - a full-time professional musician working across a variety of different genres and in an array of different contexts. I enjoy taking lessons that are governed by the student`s musical tastes and interests. I want to know what you like to play and to listen to, and to swap ideas of what else might be good to give a go. Improving technique on your instrument is incredibly important, but if we can aim to work together to apply these techniques to music you love playing, then we`ll be sure to have a great time. Outside of teaching, I perform across the UK and Europe with several original ensembles, from trios to an 11-piece group. I have also performed with Manchetser Camerata and chamber music groups.
